Stray Animals
It's always fun when you find a stray. Most people get overly excited when they see that shivering, skinny dog in the rain. Their first instinct is to help it. But to caution, some animals may not be the best to get all worked up over.
Abused- Some strays have been abused. Of course, it may be hard to tell unless you around them. These animals tend to be skittish and don't let you get too close. These animals can be calmed, but it may take lots of patience. Don't be surprised if this animal doesn't stick around. If they are afraid of humans, they will most likely steer clear of them.
Aggressive- These animals may seem okay at first, but once you get near them they may attack at worst. These animals usually don't get homes, and mostly happens with dogs. You have to be careful when dealing with them.
Diesease- This is a factor to watch out for. If an animal has any infection, it could be passed to you or your animals. These can be as severe as rabies, or as mellow as a few ticks. Just make sure to watch for any signs of pain, or odd behavior. (Possibly itching if it's a parasite)
*When you find a stray animal, ALWAYS ask around to make sure it is not someone's. Sometimes it is okay to post it somewhere (We will have that option soon), like on flyers or a Facebook post. Just make sure to notify people
